monytr joins imec.istart: fuel for the next chapter of fleet intelligence.

We're thrilled to share some news that marks a major milestone for monytr: we've been selected to join imec.istart, Europe's number one university-linked startup accelerator.

Out of 140 applications for this cohort, monytr was one of just nine startups chosen. We don't say that to brag - we say it because it tells you something about where fleet intelligence is heading, and why we believe monytr is positioned to lead it.

What is imec.istart?.

If you're not familiar with it, imec.istart is the flagship accelerator program of imec, the world-renowned Belgian research institute for nanoelectronics and digital technology, headquartered in Leuven. Founded in 1984, imec has grown into one of the most respected independent R&D hubs on the planet - the kind of place where the chip in your smartphone, and the technology behind AI, 5G, and countless other breakthroughs, was quietly shaped. With thousands of researchers from over a hundred countries and a reputation that draws partnerships from the biggest names in tech, imec isn't just a Belgian success story - it's a genuinely global one.

Launched in 2011, imec.istart has spent over a decade backing ambitious tech founders. It's consistently ranked the world's best university-linked accelerator, and its track record speaks for itself: hundreds of startups supported, well over EUR 100 million in follow-on funding raised by its portfolio companies, and a long list of alumni who went on to become category leaders in their space.

The program isn't just a check-writer. Selected startups get:

monytr exists to solve a problem that's been ignored for too long: heavy equipment - cranes, excavators, forklifts, generators, you name it - generates a mountain of valuable data that almost nobody is using. Different brands, different protocols, different systems that don't talk to each other. Fleet operators are left flying blind on the very machines that keep their business running.

We built monytr to change that: one platform that connects machines of any brand or type, and turns raw fleet data into uptime. Being accepted into imec.istart is a strong external validation of that mission - and of the traction we've already built with fleet operators across construction, rental, material handling, and beyond.

What changes is our ability to get there faster, with the backing of one of Europe's most respected innovation ecosystems behind us.
